MOLECULAR COMPASS

Guided by Molecules. Driven by Insight.

At Molecular Compass, we provide high-impact consulting and scientific support to organizations navigating complex challenges in biotechnology, life sciences, and CDMO/CRO sectors.

With deep expertise in protein interactions, peptide design, assay development, and structural biology, we help R&D teams accelerate innovation and improve data quality.

Our services also include data-driven decision support, business development insights, and visually engaging scientific figures.

Whether you’re advancing a molecule, scaling operations, or seeking clear scientific communication — we guide your path forward.

Hi, I’m Dennis — founder of Molecular Compass.
With a background in molecular science, structural biology, and pharmaceutical R&D, I started Molecular Compass to help bring clarity, direction, and momentum to complex challenges in biotech and life sciences.

Over the years, I’ve worked across peptides, protein interactions and engineering, assay development, and scientific communication, both in the lab and in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Through that experience, I’ve seen how often strong science needs equally strong interpretation, strategy, and communication to truly move forward. Molecular Compass was created from that idea: to help organizations make better decisions, communicate science more clearly, and move ahead with confidence.

At its core, Molecular Compass is about combining scientific depth with clarity and creativity. In addition to strategic and scientific consulting, I also use original photography — particularly nature and biology imagery — to bring a more thoughtful and distinctive visual layer to communication and brand identity. For me, that connection feels natural: both science and photography begin with careful observation, curiosity, and respect for detail.

Whether you’re developing a new therapeutic, strengthening your CDMO offering, looking for support in scientific strategy, or searching for visuals that reflect the depth and beauty of science, I’d be glad to help you find the right direction — with precision, creativity, and a strong scientific compass.

SWISS-DUTCH BIOTECH MISSION 2026

Molecular Compass visited the Biotech Mission between the Netherlands and Switzerland on 20-22 April, 2026.
It was a great opportunity to explore the Dutch life science and health ecosystem together with our Swiss delegation.

These kinds of exchanges are always valuable: seeing how others build, collaborate, and innovate; learning from different approaches; and at the same time sharing our own experiences. This is often where meaningful collaboration begins.

We started at Leiden Bio Science Park, where we explored the campus, the organizations based there, and the many opportunities the ecosystem has to offer. The day concluded with a very warm reception at the Embassy of Switzerland in the Netherlands, which provided an excellent setting to continue conversations and strengthen new connections.

The following days were dynamic, and highly informative. At High Tech Campus Eindhoven, we learned more about the facilities, the companies located on site, and the research taking place within the campus, among which some cool sensor technologies for organ-on-chip plates. I also appreciated hearing how researchers are encouraged and supported to create startups and translate innovation into real-world impact.

At Novartis in Baarle-Nassau, we had the opportunity to learn about — and see firsthand — how the isotope labels for radioligand therapies are produced for cancer treatment. It was truly impressive and inspiring to witness innovation that has such a direct impact on patients’ lives.

The final part of the mission took place at Pivot Park in Oss. Alongside the site visits, we heard pitches from startups based at Pivot Park, as well as from the Swiss delegation.

Overall, it was an inspiring mission full of valuable insights, new connections, and promising starting points for future collaboration.
